Le Cadeau Color Academy — hair colour education at The Beauty Suite HQ, Fashion City, Ballymount. Training colourists since 2016, internationally CPD accredited, and brand-neutral, so you are taught across the professional colour lines rather than one house brand.
This is the step-by-step pathway, from no experience to working behind the chair. Take it in order or pick single courses. Choose a course above for its price.
- Colour From Scratch — €1,420. Step 1, the beginner course. Natural pigment and lightening backgrounds, the colourist's numbering system, choosing developers, first-time application and length distribution, covering 30–100% white hair, cool/neutral/warm results, lightening, blonde work, aftercare.
- Commercial Hair Styling — €690. Step 2. Professional tools and products, prepping from the wash, brush work, straightening and curling with hot tools, and the finishes that sell in a salon.
- Fashionable Colour Techniques — €1,690. Step 3, and also part of the professional range. Classic highlighting, balayage, shatush and combined techniques, foil and thermal work, controlling the lift, and toning rules for each technique.
- Hair Treatment & Reconstruction — €340. Step 4, the chemistry. Hair structure and bonds, types of damage, porosity, pH, and what is actually in amino acid, protein and lipid reconstructions.
- The Art of Communication — €520. Step 5, the consultation half of the job. The personality colour code, the "platinum" rule, and handling the clients everyone else finds difficult.
Good to know: dates, group size and payment options are agreed when you enquire. On completion you receive an internationally recognised CPD certificate.
